This is an excellent trip for those who like a fast, adventurous, and sometimes wet and wild ride!. The Crew is friendly, and this trip is definitely one of my personal favorites. I really enjoyed the blowing of the Conch Shell and opening ceremony with song asking for a safe journey as we entered the ocean. This trip is less crowded then most other boats, and it is one of the fastest vessels on the water. This allows the vessel to travel down the Kanaio coast and La Perouse Bay, weather conditions permitting. This coastal area is where the last lava flow occurred over 220 years ago from Mt. Haleakala, Maui’s 10,023 ft. dormant volcano. Snuba is offered as well which allows you to dive down 20 ft or so with a dive master. It is like scuba diving in Maui, except you don’t need prior experience, and you don’t have tanks on your back. I recommend their sister boat for children under 5 years of age and elders.
